I'm a noob.
I started playing this game back in 2005. played it for three years, then took a break till last week...
The game is just too complex for me, there is so many things that annoy me, like going out on a mission forgetting to put item from hangar to ship and stuff like that...
YET, EvE had and still has so many charm that I never, ever said one bad word against this game. I'm glad it's still alive and kicking.
I like other space sims too, currently I'm playing Starpoint Gemini 2 and if you can, give it a try because it's worth the money. That game is different then EvE. More dynamic and single player, but still when I need to compare it to anything, I say it's EvE Offline, mainly for it's tactical combat and RPG system.
I also think that Elite Dangerous has its potential as first person space shooter... Not to mention Star Citizen.
But EvE somehow always managed to stay in my heart. Even during the years that I didn't play it, I often talked weith people about it, recommended it to many people and itching to get back.
And now I'm where I started. New character, new ship, new level of noobiness... At least I glad that the community stayed kind and helpful as always. Thank you for that. :) |

I know a lot has changed. And I'm catching up slowly, found me a nice corp, getting to know the game again. :)
Thank you for the help, I know you're a friendly bunch.
I never had any problems with EvE players. I did end up in my escape pod once, but that's another story. :D
And to answer your question, yes. I did comment on Steam. I just didn't buy the game over Steam but directly here on EvE's web. :) |

Ok you gave me litteral goosebumps.
Because my story was similar to yours, when I played long ago (I was solo, flying around, doing missions) but the guy who killed me instead of giving me advice, he left.
So your story is more positive and I'm glad about it.

I usually don't resort to violence unless absolutely necessary, but sometimes there is no other option then... throwing ammo at high speeds at targets. |

Well in any game there are childish players or people that were not breastfed when they were little so they think that MMOs are a place to gain selfesteem through harassing weaker players.
But I really didn't have that many problems in EvE... On the contrary...
Well I played many MMO's so I've met literally hundreds of people. World of Warcraft, The Lord of the Rings Online, EvE Online, Rift, Star Wars The Old Republic, Everquest 2, Neverwinter, D&D Online, Guild Wars 1 and 2, Age of Conan, tried The Elder Scrolls Online. Probably forgot some.
Believe me, EvE has the best MMO community I've seen so far. At least that's my experience. Must be that this genre or complexity of the game doesn't compel the half ******** kids. :D I don't know, but I'm glad for it. :) |

Actually I manged to find two account linked to this e-mail, but non of those are the one I was playing for three years, both of these are expired trials... :-/

Thank you.
I found it actually and strangely remembered username and password I haven't used in 6 years. That account has much higher level capsuleer and more ISK and ships, but it was registered under different e-mail. I will try to chage mail and merge it with my current account. |

Yay, managed to connect them... Transfered 450 mill not sure why was I that poor and some 5 ships that were parked on Jita... :)
Now I need to find a way to bring them back. That 18 jumps journey was not that pleasant. :) |
